چکیده
Culex is mosquito commonly known to transmit several arboviral diseases which have a significant impact on human health. An earlier study shows the dominancy of Culicine having 57 species under 12 genera were in coastal regions Odisha state. sitiens Weidmann proficient vector Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV). Bio-ecology and their precise identification paramount importance develop specific control strategies. In this study, molecular Cx. was made using mitochondrial COI after collection. Genetic divergence performed analyze intra-specific distance among studied species. Additionally, haplotype network constructed based nucleotide differences, determine genealogical relationship between haplotypes. The current abundance efficiency use mt gene marker strongly supports positioning by clustering with respective group. Further, population genetics illustrated occurrence genetic differentiation within suggested that Indian certain level differences.

Phylogenetic relationships of Culex (Culex) species (Diptera, Culicidae) from Argentina based on morphological characters.
The purpose of this study was for the first time to establish phylogenetic hypotheses among Culex (Culex) species from Argentina, and to evaluate the relationships of this subgenus with subgenera Phenacomyia and Phytotelmatomyia. We employed maximum parsimony to analyse morphological characters derived from the morphology of the adult, pupal and larval stages. More than 30 figures, including ph...

Polymorphism of the mtDNA gene COI encoding cytochrome C oxidase subunit I was studied in the mosquitoes Culex pipiens Linnaeus, 1758 and C. torrentium Martini, 1925 from sixteen locations in Russia and in three laboratory strains of subtropical subspecies of the C. pipiens complex. Representatives of this complex are characterized by a high ecological plasticity and there are signifi cant ecop...
متن کاملGenomic sequence and phylogenetic analysis of Culex flavivirus, an insect-specific flavivirus, isolated from Culex pipiens (Diptera: Culicidae) in Iowa.
Adult mosquitoes (Diptera: Culicidae) were collected in 2007 and tested for specific viruses, including West Nile virus, as part of the ongoing arbovirus surveillance efforts in the state of Iowa. A subset of these mosquitoes (6,061 individuals in 340 pools) was further tested by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) using flavivirus universal primers. Of the 211 pools of Cul...

Japanese encephalitis is a disease of major importance in Asia, which from 1995 has extended its range into the north of Australia. Culex annulirostris Skuse of the Culex sitiens subgroup of Culex was incriminated as the most likely mosquito vector. Because misidentifications previously have occurred within this subgroup, our paper defines electrophoretic methods to identify Culex specimens fro...
متن کاملMolecular phylogeny of Anopheles hyrcanus group (Diptera: Culicidae) based on mtDNA COI
BACKGROUND The Anopheles hyrcanus group, which includes at least 25 species, is widely distributed in the Oriental and Palearctic regions. Some group members have been incriminated as vectors of malaria and other mosquito-borne diseases. It is difficult to identify Hyrcanus Group members by morphological features. Thus, molecular phylogeny has been proposed as an important complementary method ...
